Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Playa Tropical Resort Hotel had its ups and downs. The beach location was lovely, providing stunning views and a nice pool area (particularly for sunset watching!). However, the overall state of the resort screamed for a facelift, and some of the amenities, like the towels and shower facilities, were a letdown. Despite this, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff, making my stay more enjoyable.
The hotel has stunning exterior views and a gorgeous infinity pool, but the room quality and service need significant improvement. I was disappointed with the cleanliness and amenities in my room, as well as the lack of attentive service from the staff. While the location is decent for exploring nearby attractions, overall, it’s not worth the price paid.
I had a mixed experience at Playa Tropical Resort. The rooms were decent for a family of four and offered a relaxing atmosphere, but the facilities felt a bit old and could use a revamp. On the upside, the food was one of the highlights, especially the seafood dishes. The staff were friendly, but I did encounter some issues with the room cleanliness and maintenance.
My stay at Playa Tropical Resort was quite an experience. The friendly and helpful staff, especially Kai, made my visit enjoyable, and the location was perfect for exploring Ilocos Norte. However, some issues were present, like ongoing renovations that disturbed the tranquility and some cleanliness concerns that could use improvement.
I had a lovely stay at Playa Tropical Resort Hotel. The pool was fantastic, and my room was spacious and clean. While the dining surprised me with its quality, I did encounter a few minor issues like some maintenance needs and a strange rule about beach access after dark. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that I'd gladly repeat.
My stay at Playa Tropical Resort was mostly positive with its stunning views and friendly staff, but it did have some drawbacks. The location is fantastic for exploring Ilocos Norte and the food was surprisingly good. However, I did notice some maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns in the pool area, which detracted from my overall experience.
I had two stays at this hotel, and while the beach was nice with fine black sand, I encountered several issues. The first room had a terrible smell, and even though the second room was better with a lovely view, there’s quite a bit of room for improvement overall. The pool area needed cleaning, and my experience left me hoping for more attention to detail.
I had a mixed experience at this resort. The location was beautiful and the ambience was relaxing, but the rooms were in need of upgrades and overall cleanliness. The staff were accommodating and welcoming, but the service lagged at times. Dining options were a letdown with lackluster breakfast choices but the dinner was delightful. Overall, it has potential but some improvements are necessary to justify the price.
We had a wonderful time during our two-day stay at this resort. The beach was just a stone’s throw away, and we loved the complimentary breakfast with a beautiful view. Although the rooms were basic, we upgraded to a suite that was spacious and comfortable. The dining experience was great, though the food was a bit pricey. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway, but the Wi-Fi and limited activities could be improved.
